Looking Back

Within my heart
Where quiet love shines
I know beauty
Along with the fireworks of nature
Your words come to me like a breeze
It came

Like a misty
Mysterious vision to me
It makes my brain play love music
In romance and fantasy
Hopeless in love
Hopeless in happiness
Your arms embrace
Covers me in ecstasy
I am a refuge

Of my dreams
In heavenly touch
Lifting one hand
Reaching out for you
Mouths and bodies touch
In this tender moment
This very moment
I wish
I could be your eye’s
Looking back
At me

Fantabulous, Tinka!! You have given us a poetic love feast and have then renewed the appetite with the switch of perspective to seek to enjoy afresh the feelings which another has savoured. An unique and beautifully drawn out spin on the question "How was it for you?!" Gotta love it! Lovely concept. TY Kate xx
