"Well, the nearest telephone is light years away.
This is another world, a closed universe, uh, itís
not quite like Earth. I mean, this place is filled
with dinosaurs and monkey-like people that we
call Pakuni. In fact it was built by the ancestors
of some giant, insect-like creatures that we call
~ Ranger Rick Marshall

"Adult Earth-beings radiate emotions like fires
radiate heat. Right now you appear to me as a
smoldering fire."
~ The Zarn (Sleestak Holy Man)

Towering, scouring
Pillars of flame
Scorching souls in
The name of the game
Nothingís the same but
The heat remains
Iím feeling so right,
Riding so high!
Lifeís the type of flow I like.
Desirous throngs, nothing is wrong.
Loving and fighting, living and riding,
Longing for someone to ease the pain.
Call my name, whisper sweet nothings
And tell me the same.
Lovely nights and stormy sights,
Shared delight, Iíll treat you right.

In the Land of the Lost
We know the cost
Of broken dreams
The quest for cream
The fatal call, a waterfall.
A sinful place where
Skylons sing and
Zarnís the king!
True love takes wing
and flies away...

Sleestak songs been sung so long
I canít hear the Music of the Spheres!
The dearly departed my growth retarded
Arrested development a fatal entrapment,
And yet I strain to hear the beat,
And still I maintain and stomp my feet,
Hit the street and hustle and flow
Tonight we go
Down deep into a holy sleep.
Traveling yonder thoughts to ponder,
Visions to see to set us free, a gulf to leap
A climb too steep
The children weep and sigh,
Tears donít dry inside my eye, they fall.
I cry out loud to God,
I scream my secrets to the Lord
And listen to, His holy word.

In the Land of the Lost
The soul is the cost
Of forgotten dreams ,
The fight for cream.
The fateful call, a waterfall,
A terrible place where
Skylons lie and
Zarnís the King!
Desire catches fire
And runs away...

Holy nights of you and I
Our love wonít die
My secret smile
Please, stay a while.
Thereís a place in my heart
Where we can start to
Share the things that
True love brings to light,
For you, Iíll fly out to the moon
And bring you back your
Heartís delight.
The Sunís the place
Where a loverís grace
Reveals, Soul Mates.

In the Land of the Lost
This is the cost
Of living your dreams.
Following the stream
We canít forestall the waterfall.
A soulful spot where
Skylons cast lots and
Zarnís the Mack!
Our love returns,
The heartís  lesson
