A poem I rearranged to fit this bit!!

***********

Time

The time has come

To surrender

I am no pretender

My emotions tender and weak

What shall I do

If I try to seek

For the love I need

I am in dispute

The one I really need

Left me in the nude

On a route

That leads me to nowhere

To a detour

Or is it a

Cull - de - sac

Without a doubt

In a circle of no hope

No were to go

Without love,

Without hope

Without power

How the hell

Do you expect me

To cope in the dark

Without my only hope

Without bloody electricity

The memories of us

Fly across

The wind swept sky

All that I love for so long

All the silt of my yearning

Comes to rest in me once again

The grief of all loving

And not bloody voltage in power

All damn day!!

Sighhhhh

Tinka,

Thought provoking questions you ask in this powerful write. We've come to depend on electricity; we couldn't live without it, as our ancestors did. Excellent!

Hope your power comes back on soon.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

The idea is frightening for sure, but you and I and all the writers in the world would cope even if it meant scratching our words on tree bark by candle light, we love our work too much.

Went without electric for three days in the dead of Winter. Would not want to face that for a protracted period of time. Hope it's resolved quickly.
