Where has the wind carried you?

The distance is chilling me.
Yet our bonds cannot be severed.

My heart aches with such a stone cold
The Sun cannot dull it.

For it is etched eternally across either of our hands
Like a scar, jagged edged
incomplete in shape.
Yet, familiar.

In it's own rite -
it makes each of us complete.
