You take my unconditional love
and call it only care,
In your heart
theres a bridge to the truth
you can never let me cross.
you've already decided
you could never dare.
You hold my lonely heart
and never realize I'm allways there,
waiting to comfort you in time of loss,
for you feel there's nothing
I can help you bear.
You reach out to my willing soul
from behind the wall
you've built of thoughts unfair.
My life smiles at you
yet you look back at me
with only a blank stare.
You touch me,
and I'm overwhelmed by the joy we share.
You love me,
but I know it's your life apart I tear,
just by being me.
