Take Me to Moher

take me to Moher

let me ride upon the sea born winds
that cast themselves against the resolute rock

I will come as no mere traveler
set to gaze upon the lusty heights
but more so as an element of the rock itself
joined in an ancient chronicle of time and presence

essence to essence
in the milieu of earth and sky

take me to Moher

where I release my secrets
amid those told in the brackish foam
swirling at the foot of flagstone
thunderous as a battle cry
murmured as a subtle prayer

take me to Moher

let past and present collide
let future unfold

let me rejoice
let me become
and I shall find my wings

and fly
