Wasn't it in Roman Days?
"Beware the ides of March"
Wasn't it Ceasar who got stabbed
because of the ides of March?

Maybe I watched "Cleopatra" too young
maybe my imagination is creeping away from me
to a place where the leprechauns play
and there are slimy, Blarney stones to kiss
and HISS...................

What is this strange tale?
Shall I just ask Jeeves
or google it in?
Or should I look within?

I would rather look out!!!

If I should fail
to learn
then I will do a study
about the windy, dusty, pale
month that this is so far.

Hardly any snow
Very warm
The snowcaps are melting?
Is this the future we were warned about?
Or is it just the ides of March?

Thought-provoking sentiments, Meredith. We have not had a "normal" winter here in the last several years. Thank you. Love and peace,

Regis
