I seem to have  a light fixation
hope you'll bear with me;-)

I awoke to dappled sunlight
dancing  across my walls
in my head a voice saying
"happiness has come to call
when you acknowledge
the light that lives, you
receive all He has to give"

I closed my eyes and saw
a myriad of tiny lights
heart and soul  yearning
curiosity full burning
a story I was being told
worth more than gold
in all of its glory

My eyes open, sunbeams gone
in their place suns rays
bathing my bed with warmth
I feel the Light that Lives
which shines through days sunlight
as in the moon and stars at night
and with all things under the sun
without which life is done

I rise to join the sun/son in a dance

So much better to be fixated on the light than to be trapped within the darkness. Often we allow our lives to be shrouded in darkness because some things have not gone as we had hoped they would. Eventually, we allow the darkness to lift and the light comes streaming in; we feel its warmth and our soul opens to the beauty that surrounds us and to all the blessings that have been bestowed upon us. Beautiful, uplifting write, Eileen!
Take care,
Sherry

Better watch that light, might make you a little disorinated and all, but on the other hand, living in the Light is not a bad thing to do. Yep. I missed this. Sorry. Now I have it. Everything is okay again.
