I watch as the pain of her soul devours her..
Eating upon her very being from within...

Looking on out of the rain staind window..

I watch the girl kneeled upon the muddy ground..

Watching as she is unable to pick up her heart...
The shattered pieces strung out all around...

I watch as the pain of her soul devours her..
Eating upon her very being from within...

I watch as the rain falls from the sky...
The cool drops flooding down upon her tear staind skin...

I look on as her breathing grows shallow..
As she chokes upon each sob she cries...

Her body shakes violently with sadness...
While her soul within slowly dies..

Feeling the sadness flow through my veins..
As I watch on from afar...

The girl in the rain once upon a time was me..

Before the pain of her soul,
locked her sanity within this mental jar....
