We learned that day
That nightmares are as real
As we watched those towers
fill up with smoke
And watched as they crashed
Destorying lives
Along with strutcure.
We learned that day
That foundations shake
Foundations
We once believed
Were unshakable
We learned that day
That sometimes
We are made stronger
When we discover our weakness
And they couldn't take that
Strength away from us
Not really.

Michelle,
A powerfully penned tribute to the families who still live the nightmare, as does anyone who witnessed the destruction of nearly 3,000 lives, in person or on television. Well done, thank you for not forgetting.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. |

O, Michelle,
That picture is really heartwrenching; it opens new wounds; but we must NEVER forget the reason (right or wrong) WHY we are now at war! If we don't do something, we will only be attacked again, and it may be much worse than 9-11-01. God, I pray and hope that does NOT happen! Powerful, gutwrencher of a write you have penned here; very well done!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears <
