What’s In Your Heavenly Account?

It was a pleasant Saturday night in November 1998. My friend and I attended a church meeting where a renowned television minister spoke about heavenly accounts. The idea ..

Peter's poem today "Eve of Destruction"made me post this one;-)

The color of the night was alien blight
The trees were bare beyond compare
All the kings horses and all the kings men
Couldn't put things  back together again

The milky way  had fallen from the sky
Everything I loved had poked me in the eye
Mountains had crumbled oceans receded
I couldn't get anyone to give what was needed

A legion of  army ants crawled over the earth
Eating everything, growing bigger in  girth
Like some monster picture made in hollywood
But the ants were for real eating all they could

The sun was losing  its power while the moon
Had given way to  satellites that would erupt soon
Everything was  programmed to fulfill  its goal
Only  human beings did  not know their role

Running around in circles asking what's going on
Even though  every era had been warned
When the angels had descended to arrange all things
The powers and principalities were having their fling

As hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanoes erupted
With the mind and vision of  humanity corrupted
Soon the vision I had would be filled  in all  its glory
God had chosen well all the players in His story!

True Eileen. Everything goes and goes until it is gone. And this universe is no exception to that rule. We must know our role and duty before it is too late. Great poem. GBQ

A heavenly panorama of what was, what still is, and what will be of what is to come. The cosmic trip to Xanadu, visual stimuli, looking at the astral inkblot of the future. Vivid reality and dramatic images, Eileen.

Outta sight stuff, here, Eileen. You did the meter so fantastically it just rolled off the tongue and the impressive images you threw out there for us to visualize were/are astounding. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I liked the poem.

Ah Eileen, this is so very powerful and filled with such chilling imagery, Man has been warned, and still refuses to listen as the earth moans in agony. Excellent!

You paint a grim and foreboding picture in this apocalyptical write Eileen
All the portents and tokens are there for the whole world to see, however they have been blinded, and their ears stopped by the Almighty, so far they have strayed away from him .
Thank you Eileen for posting this timely and vital message to us all
It is time for us all to get our house in order, we are all living on borrowed time now !

Only human beings did not know their role

And as each day now passes, I keep asking myself why that is, Tiger Lily, when supposedly we are the most intelligent creatures on this planet. Quite mind boggling - and a future quite dreadful in most probability - for us all.

Seems many now write on this theme - must be something to it, for sure.
