The sun goes down Beauty all around it With colors that split the sky wide Purples, oranges, and reds Bringeth forth such bright rays ~ ~ ~ The sun goes down Taking the days events with it No matter how good or bad It fades with the day ~ ~ ~ The sun goes down In it hope for a new day A new sunrise with a clean slate A sunset to a new sunrise To give new chances ~ ~ ~ The sun going down Brings forth a bright new sunrise To set the pace of continueing Bringing each day to an end So that another may begin ~ ~ ~
