" In Memory of Dana Reeves.....The Epitome of Womanhood and Motherhood....and a truly special human being !  "

........................................................................................................................................................................

You exemplified everything

that is beautiful in a human being

a warm, loving, and caring spirit

who put others before herself

a giver in this world of despair

who sacrificed it all

for her stricken husband

like any good wife should do

and still found the precious time

to be a wonderful mother to her son

your compassionate and benevolent heart

reached out to other lost souls in your foundation

helping others to get their lives back on track

an angel of all consuming light

a paragon of virtue and kindness to the wounded

it is so true , only the good die young

and you leave a laudable legacy in your wake

for others to carry the baton

from here to eternity

Every paralyzed person needs a strong counterpart like Dana to help them be whole when so much is cut off. We don't get to choose the disease that kills us. I only hope that she suffered little before the curtain fell.

Because of her steadfast effort and Chris's charisma, the road to a cure for spinal cord injury is clear.

Gone with the days of the telephone booth where Superman metamorphosed. She will sadly be missed. One more angel gets her wings. Thanks for the tribute, Peter.
