It is the unheard giggles,

the unseen glances,

the lost inflections that kill me.

Sometimes it is agonizing.

The loneliness,

the yearning,

the solo screams.

The singularity of the waves

…rolling over me,

in a thunderous crashing,

as I grasp for you.

And then the tears

falling into my pillow,

at the point of your waking,

and my sleeping.

Two beautiful worlds, apart.

With love, always hoping,

ever present, forever far.

The depicting of a heart pumping emotions through a pipeline of desires to fulfill the "Same Old, Same Old" -- where the beats of the drum of love -- can be heard neatly.

"Same Old, Same Old" flows to the sea of completion by the shores of assurance to the island of satisfaction.

This poem, "Same Old, Same Old" has paid its dues to Poetry, and enriched the major art.

I salute You, Poet!

With love, always hoping,
ever present, forever far.

I think you've penned the perpetual human condition here, Sara.

And there is NOTHING anyone can do about it except read your words of pain and torment and grief and wish we could help.
