Afraid of death approaching,
Afraid of life ending,
Afraid of the devil deceiving,
Afraid of how god will of you be receiving…?
To fall asleep, yes, even “perchance to dream”,
That poet had the same lack of inclination,
He did write on the same theme,
Write I do at night, instead of to dream…
I sleep in spurts,
Afraid that out my blood will go in squirts,
Wish not to end my life in hell with the rest of the perverts,
I do not wish to in death wear skirts,
Nor to suffer any anal hurts…

| Death is just another step on our cosmic journey. I plan to come back as an insect; I've got a yen to 'bug' some folks I know. |

Ed,
Well...you might want to extensively research your funeral home first then...I hear some things there can be very disquieting. Me, I'm making sure my last meal is Mexican with lots of jalapenos!
Peace,

Ed,
As a matter of fact, last night was prime example. The beginning of severe weather season here in North Texas had tornado watches/warnings popping up all over, I was a nervous wreck...I HATE THIS TIME OF YEAR! Especially since there are no BASEMENTS or UNDERGROUND SHELTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now, if I had a big furry protector, like yon Rufuz here, I could relax more.......
An excellent write...and that last line, OUCH. LOLOL
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. |
