Sometimes we just need time alone. Luke
|
A night at the camp.
To those who love solitutude
A NIGHT AT THE CAMP
It’s just an old tar papered shack.
Nestled in a quiet forest glen .
I wonder why I keep going back ?
Certainly not the best place I’ve been .
Built from old scraps of wood.
Heated with an old wood stove.
Nothing modern , no range hood
But lots of history from stories wove .
A place to escape , get away from it all
Lay around , have a nap , whatever you want ..
Here all alone . No one can call.
Your safe . No worries . No one to rant .
A quiet time to think . Set goals . Make a plan .
The smell of birch burning . Blood warming heat .
A time to take stock . How do you rate as a man ?
Building your character . That time can’t be beat .

Somewhere "A NIGHT AT THE CAMP" can make for a month's vacation.
This composition took me back to Mother-Poet, (NATURE) and made me reminisce my days in the farm and forest.
Keep sending Your flowers, Poet.
