Finally!!! We are getting some rain and snow in New Mexico. We have been struggling with strong winds and only 9% humidity. I have been way too busy, I hope to find some time to read later today.

Haiku Chain

Fresh snow falls gently

Quieting the newborn day

Quenching the parched earth

Gentle rain sprinkling

Heals the drought from wind and sun

Promise of rebirth

The dry air succumbs

To the drops of soaking rain

Earth breathes a soft sigh

Morning air tastes sweet

Washed clean by nightís snow and rain

Inhale, feel its life

A morning surprise

Awaken to snowy ground

Heart sings happy songs

YOu might be talkin about precipitation here, Sherry, but these are balm to my ruffled soul and frayed bronchial tissues for a start!! Tender, pristine and - as Nordette has said - so very refreshing. Like sorbet, somehow. My poetic palette has been cleansed - thank you - and ESPECIALLY for all your love and support in recent weeks and months. I have tangibly FELT it and have been touched. Bless you, with love, Kate xx

So refreshing!! Late as it is and tired as I am, you have picked me
up and helped me climb to an overlook where the air is sweet and the view is breathtaking. Love these, love the heart and soul that creates these beauties.

Wonderful chain. The earth is sometimes stabbed in the heart with a dagger called Drought and dry season but with the mercy of God it comes to life again when rains pour and winds change direction. To earth, spring is like resurrection. Thanks Sherry I always love reading your beautiful work.
