To the parents of the young called into the service

The Cajun Bird Cries At Night

Why do you cry
Oh! Cajun Bird?
The nest is empty
Oh! Haven't you heard?

Where are they going
My dear Cajun Bird?
They're off to the war
With the rest of the herd

Why are they leaving
this day and this night?
The government says
They must go off and fight

Fight they must do
so we can have peace
From the terrorist who
believe to die is Heavenly release

What will you do now
Oh! sweet Cajun Bird?
I must pray best I know how
that the miracle of prayer
soon will be heard

Prayer is the most powerful force in the world...:)

We all need to pray for peace and we need to pray that God will change the heart of our enemies. It's the very last recourse we have to harmony. It has to end with new beginnings.
