This is the new learned look my 18 month old Granddaughter Lily Pearl has mastered but cannot carry off cause she breaks into giggles when we laugh at her...

ďThe LookĒ

So letís get this straight Iíll just say it once

These are my demands so listen close

I want a bottle chilled to room temperature

I want my bath at five no make that four

I want no more strained peas or that other mush

I want baby powder sprinkled on my tush

Stories are fine but TV is much better

So give me Dora, Dora or itís a bed wetter

Hug me tight and kiss me lots

Because Iím so darn cute like Forget-me-nots

Just remember God made me for only you

Love and cherish me no matter what I do!

Lol! Looks to me that the "terrible twos" is rearing it's head. That's a determined chin if ever I saw one. She'll push the limits but Pop knows what to do. Darling poem...Lin

I've seen that look before. Think they all master it at one time or another. Still see it in my teenagers once in awile. She has Poppy right where she wants him. LOL Karen

They can twist you around their little finger and give you looks that could kill or just want to hug.

She's adorable even with her new look! Children are priceless. They are treasures for the old to cherish.
I've got a niece that absolutely can bat her big blue eyes and wrap anybody around her finger, yes...yes even me, and what's worse is, is that she knows it! Just like dear Lily knows she's got Poppy where she wants him! *grin* They demand our attention, and the only one that loses is those that don't take the time to give it to them.
Cute kid and cute write Felix!

This look is precious no matter what the problem or demands beautiful children can get away with it.
Cherish these days because they grow so fast and become one of us even faster.
This is a great poem for parents and grand parents.
