As the rain fell this morning
in copious amounts
it seemed to be tapping out
a coded message
I stopped what I was doing
stood still to listen
I sensed a pattern like morse code
but couldn't understand
Though it did give rise to the thought
that rain communicates
Perhaps not to us but my imagination
could grasp it talking to nature
Maybe to the trees and flowers it says
"Hello time you had a shower"
Okay so you think that's a stretch, but
can you refute it with facts
Since I know you can't I choose to have
fun with all possibilities
I believe our planet is of intelligent design
whose spirit indwells all things
My communicative receptors are open
to all of creation
So  whom or whatever wishes to speak to me
I'm listening

You and I on the same page today...a beautiful write you've penned. The storm can terrify (trust me), but there is a beauty in it as well...I choose to see that side. Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
