How would you categorize this piece?

I avoid the their sneers, their rolling eyes
I choose not to hear their slanderous lies
I dart away from that viperous stinger
I will not be stung by that poisonous finger!

I strive to emulate my Father's ways
and show His wisdom in all my ways
I rest my hope on the things He has taught
I wil not, in this scandel, be caught!

I pray for release of that one to pity
I have no room in my heart
for the one without integrity!

Account for the character that you lack
look in the mirror, see who stares back?
A fool!  who stabs his brother
With such a dangerous enfraction
who of you can brag
of one ounce of perfection?!

rumors are horrible and this poem is beautifully written!

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.(John 8:7) That's the scripture that I think of. Usually the ones scheming and talking behind your back are the ones with the most guilt that they hide by placing others in front of them - with the hope that they will be ignored or others will join in to persecute you. I've been the subject of that pointing finger at times. In the past, I would lash out and squash the problem before it had the chance to grow - and then feel guilty. Now I just pray that I have the right words to say to cause others to look to their own faults before my own and place it in God's hands.

Excellent write! Keep the faith and you will always be victorious.

Strong and conclusive is how I would categorize and not so much hateful but jsutified anger.
