Enumerating first things first
Often make me think I'm cursed.

"For item one, use firstly first."
This twisted English sounds the worst.

Firstly came my sister Jean.
Then came my brother in between.

And lastly came poor little me
But "lastly" drives me up a tree.

Why can't I say that "Jean came first"
Instead of sayng "firstly" first.

A wise way to guide one to learn and polish the contents of one's grammatical tools through the lines "Grammar Drives Me Bananas".

Outstanding composition.

I salute You, Poet!

Laughed as I read this one. Superb. Especially for us for whom English is not our native tongue.
