Just a few facts on traveling and where to go on vacation

                              L O U I S I A N A

While everything may be bigger in Texas

In Louisiana everything is better

Come and share a little bit of hospitality

You will find people of responsibility

The arts flurish like the flowers in the south

And speaking of food, we have the best

There is music on every corner

And dancing on every street

Joy rings out and Christmas is every day

People flock like birds on Mardi Gras

There are no strangers here

There are only friends you haven't met

Come and sample our Cajun food in Lafayette

It will put you in a satisfied mood

In our city there is no lack

You will go home with quite a stack

Good times roll everywhere you go

Over here you are never told no

I do so want to come to Louisiana and someday when I can afford it I will. It is a dream of mine and I know with my Acadian roots I would feel so at home there.

Marguerite,

Even though I live in Texas :), I have to agree...everything in Louisiana is better. The people; the food; the music; the joie de vivre. Yes. I lived north of Hammond, LA in 1991...I miss it. Beautiful memory jog and verse; BRAVA!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
