A poem about faith, believing in dreams, and the appreciation of one's destiny.

A sacred gift flew ‘cross the sky
And yet, I still do not know why
The moment, itself, came to be
Or why it chose to embrace me
So many paths, so many roads
So many dreams, others had sowed
But while that knowledge was quite true
The gift rested within my view.

And soon, a verse written in rhyme
Became enshrined for all of time
Leading me down a passage blessed
By those who longed for my success
From that moment, my heart was thrust
Into a partnership of trust
Yet, through it all, I could not see
Why the gift chose to call for me.

The gift led my heart to believe
In all that my soul could achieve
Regardless of the reason why
The blessing upon me relied
The motive may have not been clear
But while that brief moment was near
I held it close and had no doubt
About that gift, dear and devout.

A sacred gift came ‘cross the sky
And I may never realize why
The moment reached its hand to me
To start a lasting legacy
But if I’m sure of just one thing
I know that life is sure to bring
All that we need when we are due
To see our cherished dreams come true .

Dear Jill,

This poem touched me so dearly today as I was given the opportunity to heal a 7 year-old girl of a skin disease. I am still praying for her and I hope that you will too. Her name is Tanya. Please lift her up in prayer. Yours is a heart that can make miracles happen.

Blessings of Love & Light,

These sacred gifts are a wonder to us all who receive them. Thank you for pointing them out to those who might consider opening one of the gifts up for themselves.
