Pride (sin #1)

Pride one of the seven deadly sins.
#1

Pride (sin #1)

What makes a person proud?
Some would say its self-importance,
Why would one, fill them self with silly airs?
After all who truly cares?

To think that you’re worth more then I,
To such a thing there is no reply,
But this is a fact, much to mankinds dismay,
Some would say, there is white, black, and even gray.

Some are wrong in how they act,
And God will surely prove that fact.
He has spoken about pride,
And how it only pushes you aside.

Learn what you can,
About the truth and take a stand.
Hold tuff to what is right,
That you wont suffer the devils plight.

Who are you to think your better then I?
When for you, I pray and cry.
On my knees I pled for your soul,
And that God will show you his ultimate goal.
