Tick, tick, tick time revolves.
Drip, drip, drip, water gravitates,
Splash, splash, splash old faithful,
Sounding repetitions of nature.
Newborn skin shrinking tight,
Skin expanding gleefully bright.
Stationary skin moisture airtight,
Skin wrinkling aged backlight.
I will do it tomorrow I promise.
I need someone else to help me.
It will still be there next week.
Procrastination of I, the human kind!
Tick, tick, tick, wrinkling clocks,
Every day recording promises.
Procrastination of I, the human kind!
