Thoughts Impure

Naked lust

Desire peaks

Broken trust

Tears will flow

Hearts will break

Fools rush in

Big mistake

Time was stolen

Soulís burden

Minds awake

Canít go back

Stumble ahead

                    Two made three

Now empty bed

Forbidden fruit

In dark of night

Sin awakes

To morningís light

Aha!! You had me going there... oooo, yes, the thrill of the illicit... but, as you perhaps subtley suggest, in the mind is where it all starts... and is it AS bad if it also stops there??? Hmmmm.... doubtless a hot potato and I am, of course, playin devil's advocate here... not that he needs one... we seem to do a pretty good job on our own, one way or another! Mindboggling write, Pops... honest, though. TY Kate xx

This is great, Felix. The 2- & 3-syllable lines create a great
flow and a lot of snap. Following up with four-syllable words
that are different in tone and feel from what goes before
is inspired, in my opinion. Mad, sad, and slightly funny, like
a relationship -- most any relationship, but where it comes
to romance, h-e-l-p. Thanks for posting this gem. <3 Pea <3
