In memory of Brooke Marie House, Sherry Heim's grandniece.

An infant flew to Heaven
And still we wonder why,
A precious child was taken
Why did she have to die?

She held a life before her
But that was not her chance,
Her heart was made to wander
Her soul was made to dance.

The infant child was taken
Far from her earthen home,
Where golden stairways beckoned
And angels chose to roam.

Her destiny was echoed
From the moment of her birth,
Her purpose was far greater
Than what could be on this earth.

An infant flew to Heaven
And still we wonder why,
A precious child was taken
From her parents’ lullaby?

Her time was short but special
Yet, her legacy will live,
In the hearts of those who knew her
For the love she had to give.

Thank you, Jill for this wonderful tribute to Brooke. I sent this page on to my sister so she would have the chance to read it too. I appreciate your beautiful heart and the kindness that you have shared. Excellent writing as I always find when I visit your Den.
Take care,

Only God knows why he called the little girl Home; we will find out that reason when He comes back to earth. Sad, beautiful tribute to a little life gone too soon! Such a shame!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Burleson, Karen Lynn. :( >tears <

Sherry Heim in my prayers! God be with her in her time of grief!
