My vision of Heaven........

And Jesus Said; " In my Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and recieve you unto myself; that where I am there ye may be also".
John 14:2-3

I sat today and pondered

how beautiful Heaven will be

All the streets of Gold

Friends and family

waiting there for me

No more pain or growing old

No more death or sin

That's why Jesus Died

So that we might enter in

A saint guarding the gates

A beauty to behold

inlayed with jewels and Gold

Mansion's, crystal rivers,

at least thats what I've been told

I'll hear the Angels singing

praises to our King

Such beauty there in Heaven

the likes we've never seen

Our loved ones there will know

us

And never will we grow old

no sickness

no death

no pain

nothing in Heaven will be the same

We'll hear the trumpet calling

all the loved ones home

We'll meet Jesus in the air

and looking up I'll see

my God upon his throne

Waiting for us to make it home

The book of life will open

All lives are recorded there

I'll wait to hear my name called

and hope to hear him say

well done my child

Enter in

and join my loved ones there

A Heavenly Piece, Tina!

From the source of definitions words were diffused, emotions were translated with words from the lexicon of a wise soul, and "A "Vision" of Heaven" was poetized and delivered for the enjoyment of this generation and to be etched on the golden pages of Poetry.

I salute You, Sublime Poet!

Baby, this is so beautiful and the picture does it justice. You have such a way with words that convey what heaven is to be for us. I do think, like you say, that heaven will be this way. I too will stand waiting for my name to be called one day with the joy of nowing I we will be together someday there also. All my love to you from your OUTLAW, Ken.

Blimey... you have no idea how this touches me this evening, dear Tina... I buried my mother last week with just those words from John. During her funeral service, we also read out some of her "final thoughts" which articulate EXACTLY what you mention here... about meeting up with old friends and family, no more pain and mourning. Mum had had these kinds of "spiritual experiences" prior to her death, and was ready to go. "Never fear dying", she said... "it is so, so beautiful" (see my The Parting poem for the "full" account!!) And, if you knew what a hard life my Mother had had, and how she NEVER previously spoke about God and faith - in fact, was rather ANGRY with God! - then you would know what a miracle this transformation was. Anyways, a long-winded way of saying your words here have blessed me beyond measure this evening. TY LOL Kate xx
