Love holds many out comes and influences
Me & Wendy

Wendy left a message at the guard, a letter from her father
and a plane ticket. Request I be a reader and a carrier of his coffin.

My mind is lost in pain and anger
Cast from with-out a person a ponder
Will you stop and take my heart
She smiled in my eyes and covers her laughter
Lies of age will keep us apart
Effort silences all a sounder
I have to her long lost my heart

To as rich as ages smile with pearls white
Holds at arms reach and offer a gift that is all I have
She looks deep into the steel of age softly cries
No purpose is left or action of thunder
We hold passion of younger passes hurt and lies
Watch a cloud turn gray light as blue is the cue
We are visons of a yesterday sun
In hearts filled with hunger both of us still run

I carried the box that was her father
I held the tears of her mother
I kept the cold feelings falling
Six of the strong before the vicar
He said forgive him my son
My voice filled the assembled

There is a time in life when the world sees value
Not in contribution but in promise complete
For in the love, a man for his people, he lays a life
Not before the throne but at the feet of need
Time honors not passion but truth and better
Count not the needs rather bodies fed and heart healed

Letter read in a simple hand
My life has been one of power used and abused
God will judge me, but you, I need to carry me
My daughter would have it no other way
Please take the remains of this earth to place of rest
Stand before man and speak the words of crossing over

From the seed to the flower we grow and pass every bit to that which is to come, from the clay molded by God to dirt waiting, inspiration both good and bad leave marks upon the hearts souls left, mourn if you feel, cry if you must, gather and call in your markers, time is the witch, it takes everyone in the end, you may be next, seek your brother and ask for forgiveness before it is too late, from palace to the next, one knowledge to the unknown, go forward strong a conquer not a victim. Ashes of man gift of God sleep in peace.

Black takes color and leaves in its wake only time lost.
A stone marks on years upon shared faces and dreams
Her hand still melts in mine, her tears break my heart
We each walk our own way, better for this final day
