Honoring Holy Week

I worship a God who became a man
I'm thankful for salvations plan

This week is one many call holy
Because this man died for humanity

The Son of God known as Jesus
Sacrificed himself for us

God chose the cross a symbol to all nations
To show how much He loved all creation

God poured all His wrath upon His Son
So the evil of man could be undone

If humanity could only learn to believe
God sees us as Jesus whom He received

Back into heaven Resurrected
The plan of God now perfected

Peace and love come with enlightenment
When we believe Jesus was heaven sent

We may see ourselves stained and bloody
God sees us pure white

Because of what Jesus did on the cross
We're seen through His prism of light

Through Jesus Christ  we are set free
We no longer live in sinful misery

If you're a believer then you should live
According to  Gifts Creator did give

Stop living with unneccessary guilt
Live God's promises to the hilt!

I needed the part about "guilt" even though I'm not sure why. Thanks for this gift. Love and peace,

Eileen,

Beautifully penned, and He's alive! Death couldn't keep Him nailed to the cross; He reigns with His Father in Heaven, forever. And one day, those who have accepted His free gift of salvation will meet Him in the clouds. :) Can't wait--can't be too soon. Come, Lord Jesus!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

We are still sinful people and have to repent of our sins before we can enter into heaven.

"He is no longer on that cross!" Amen and indeed!
Thank you for this resurrection reminder, Eileen.
The Father surely does see His children as He sees Jesus.

this is such a beautiful reminder of how God separates our sin from us as far as the east is from the west! Happy Easter.

You are filling a spiritual void that I am going through right now. Isn't it amazing how God puts people in your path? "Stop living with unneccessary guilt" I have the worst guilt problem than anyone ever could. I don't know why. It has plagued me most of my life. Thank you for expressing Jesus' love.
