Easter tribute to His resurrection.

A cross on the road
‘twas a heavy load—
the sins of mankind.
His halo, twigs, thorns,
mild … compared to scorns ...
why kill him … ‘one’ mind?
Decadent we judge,
discard ‘fair’ and judge …
we’re weak and unkind.
Nails in his feet, hands,
no one understands
Jesus, Lord, divine.
“Forgive them,” He said,
through tears ... head bowed. Dead
to save all mankind.
Arose from His grave—
a pathway love gave--
with love … genuine.

This is good and pleases God our Savior who wants all men to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth for there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men-the testimony given in its proper time.
1 Timothy 2:3-6
Happy Easter ;)
God Bless

Wonderful painting and tribute to ONE who has suffered and died for the sins of mankind, and then arises to forgive.
Wonderful painting and poem!
