Backwards at times we may be,
For all of you to read here and see,
Rufuz does act the boss,
But daddy still does get of the cookies to toss...

A conversation with Ed & Rufuz…J

So Rufuz how is your dad, really?

“Well he is lovable and comes home to me all touchy feely…”

And Ed what is it you love the most about your pup?

“Woof, woof, ruff, grrr, howl, whine & lick…”

Ah I see, and Rufuz are you happy?

“Well daddy can be weird at times, but I love to call him pappy…”

This is all very interesting, so Ed tell us how did you train him?

“OHHHHH, ruff, ruff, yelp, slurp and growl…”

Well, Rufuz, when you play who is the alpha male?

“Don’t tell daddy, but I am the boss, he the subordinate…”

Ed, just one more question, who is the real boss of the relationship?

“GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…!!”

Now Ed, down boy, hey no biting, be a good boy,

Oh Rufuz, can you help me, your daddy is using me like a toy,

You got yourself into that predicament, don’t be coy…J

This is cute! We had it figured all along that Rufuz is probably the alpha-male. Don't feel bad, we know how those things happen to develop.

We agree, Rufuz, your daddy can be very weird at times!

But this would make a marvelous book - Conversations with My Dog.

This is a grand relationship and Rufuz is a playful and wise animal with strong will power over his Master. Wonderful way to start a day admiring a relationship this way.

Ed, and Rufuz,

Sure was great talking to you, Ed. Would have liked to talk to Rufuz...but Daddy wasn't home from work yet. You are definately an interesting conversationalist, and one great poet! Your humor shines in this adorable write. :) Thank you.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
