Had a little time and thought I would drop you off a new one. I hear this is what happens when the lovin' ends, although I cannot speak from experience on this one.
Wishing you all a fantastic day.
A sweet melody ripples across velvety harp strings,
Bringing into attention, a multitude of little things,
Shared between old soul mates and one night flings,
With differing histories, misunderstandings it brings.
Hard words, definitions of what they mean, the endings,
Where tears fall and fears grow, no more everlastings,
All that remains is silence, a heart without happenings,
And a world that turns, but with no dreamy hijackings.
A new place, a new time, and wild romantic offerings,
Fantasies, fallacies, fun, creative planned kidnappings,
Coupling, caressing, carousing, ecstasy with playthings,
Chocolate, Black Magic, Raspberry, flavoured samplings.
Daylight, eyes open, observing unfamiliar surroundings,
And strange unknown faces, inconsequential reboundings.
