I walk in the valley of shadows of death
I know when I go down on my knees i am a mark for him
Satan breathes down my very door
I am a prayer soldier
I can feel his breath when I pray for a friend
Whether they are sick
Or just tired of life
I will fight the good fight
Show them miracles are very true
I will fight and be a prayer soldier for you
I am extreme what can I say
Jesus was pierced by my kind one day
I will follow those steps til my dying day
I will be a prayer soldier even if death is my pay
They may want to kill me
They may want to behead me
They may want to take and stone me
I will stand for the fall
My life is not just my own
I have friends who hurt
I have friends that suffer
The ones I love know I am only a prayer away
I will stand my ground and help take your pain away
One thing for sure your prayer soldier is here to stay
Satan you will have plenty of chances
Me and you will go many dances
take the suffering to me
I am the one that will always be free
I am the prayer soldier bring your fight
I will not stand alone in our battles each night
Bring what you got
I am ready each day
I look into souls
They are not coming your way
I am the prayer soldier and ready for a fight.

James,

Thank you for being the prayer warrior you are. A couple of requests, if I may? Pray for my Daddy Don, recovering from illness/weakness; and to please calm the storms down outside...we're under threat for bad, bad weather. I hate storms...thanks.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Excellent, inspiring/inspired write, BTW

Thank you all for your comments my writings are very deep. Here is the real kicker They only take me about 15 minutes to write each one with absolutely no editing. Visit my site if you get a chance I have over 100 there just like this one.

Wonderful write, James. Yes, there are those who willingly fight and sacrifice for their country. The perception is of many, but the choice is of the one who is being the soldier.

Those who willingly sacrifice to protect ARE proud of their own decisions and commitments, and we should be more appreciative of their decisions and give them support.

A wonderful thought-provoking write!
