alright
Iím addicted
out of control with this poetry thing
click click
a new present
a new insight
some dark
some funny
some heartfelt gut wrenching poignant
some love love lovely
there must be some help
for this affliction
everyday I start at the bottom
to make sure I catch all that I can
and back I come
click click
scroll down
looking for a title
that catches my eye
an author whoís past work
has gripped me
alright
I know already
Iím addicted
with poetry affliction
and itís all your fault
if
you didnít write such awesome stuff
spellbound matter
if
you didnít make me laugh
or cry
or think about flies under glasses
or funky cowboy accents
I
could
get
some
work
done
but noooooooo
on and on you go
and trust me the writings on the wall
Iím going to get fired
then
on top of all that
someoneís got to go say
oh you should think about
publishing
yikes
think about it
I long/dream/desire/yearn/would give my first born
for it
scaryÖÖ.. rejection
is that not the ugliest word in the English language
oh well whatever
Iíve got reading to do
I
need
a
fix
so post away fellow thespians
my vein
is
waiting

just a pat on the back and a high five at ya all

We suffer from the same addiction. It amazes me how your work mimics mine. Different styles of course but the same story line. I think I have GOT to read everything that you wrote. (Is that the addiction again?)
