Rainbows  fade in the mist,
Dark sky at mid-day brings rain,
Daughter calling in the dark of night
Brings joy,
Peaceful reflection entices to sleep.

Honking geese at daybreak;
Go away, go away,
I have dreams yet to savor,
On this savory morn.

Smells of spring -
Familiar.
Oh joy fill my heart.
Eyes reluctant to open,
On this tactile day.

Do you see me?
Do you remember my name?
I am Peace,
I always told you,
Before you went away.

Remember me at dawn,
When branches gently sway.
Remember me at dusk;
Remember what I say.
Remember when we laughed,
And cried the tears of loss?
Remember the safety of my embrace,
Should you decide to cross.

Remember ... and there shall always be a sense of peace and safety, regardless of what may have transpired so long as you believe.

God bless you. Kathy

A powerful and emotion-evoking set of verses...especially that last couple of lines.
