|As usual, judging by the myriad diversity of comments, you capture the essence of your thoughts in a prism that both absorbs light and transmits it in equal measures, touching differing spots on the souls and spirits of many: the sign of good poetry, no??!! :)) Anyways, reckon this shoots straight into my new Number 1 slot in terms of its sheer elegance and quality of expression; for its lucidity and integrity and for it's purposeful movement which inspires both hope and vision. This has the breath of eternal youth about it, whilst at the same time speaking of the grace and beauty of ageing like oak-cask wine. I find myself wanting to speak of it being a "twin-flame" write - though I have to say I know little about such things. It just has that feel and yearning somehow. And... as to it being about someone/thing that has passed, it seems to me very contemporary and forward-looking: I think you need surrender nothing but can perhaps instead live in the hope and anticipation of the ride of a lifetime in line with the festive partying of spirit that you envisage! Why walk when you can dance and why pedal when you can glide??!! :)) Absolutely love this one... Just for a change. K xx|

|An awakening of sorts to the reality that someone has quite possibly left your life forever. Like a bolt of lightening that passed through both of you and has left an eternal scar upon your body, it is an experience that you will never be able to forget. Forever attracted to that kindred soul that owns a piece of reality that only the two of you share, your devotion remains timeless. Intense beauty of a write, Jude.

It made me want to do a painting in oil of those marvelous
images...and few poems do that to me.

|Dancing Through Sunbeams is a witness of death, metaphorical or not, followed by a rebirth. Pursues creation of a new body, a mystical body, on another plane. Metaphysical poem, Jude.

|do you write of a spirit dissolved or one crippled by life and resigned to shadow? On second thought, I like it that I don't know, Jude, because then I can read and ponder it, making my own way toward "shadows of sunlight," one foot in front of the other, re-membering the fragrance of spring when once we all danced through sunbeams, undaunted and unafraid. |Sublime poem, so eloquently expressed! But it saddens me,that you are writing of someone that you lost and may never see again. Very bittersweet!
