Good morning! :)
|
Peace reigns the night; nothing disturbs the silence; the sun, still asleep. I step outside and look up at diamonds sparkling on velvet. The gentle hand of the wind lifts my hair and caresses my face. The moon rises, a quarter slice of beauty in the eastern sky. A meteor streaks overhead and is gone just as rapidly. The first light of morning reaches its fingers slowly towards me. Poetry was made for times such as this ... the moments before dawn.

| Too true, and you have conveyed both the atmosphere and texture of such inspirational moments perfectly here, Karla. A velvet write that is smooth as the free-flowing ink from your pen, Darlin! :)) |

I love that picture, Karla. The moments before dawn are so sweet, especially when you know that a transformation of sorts is about to occur, as we head from night to light.
Take care,

Karla - I'm sorry I missed it. "Diamonds sparkiling on velvet." A poetic line,if there ever was a perfect one written. Your brain is better than mine for composing so very, very early in the A and M. Thanks for this one... a gem - Bill
