We Share and Are Thankful

Sharing with my friends. The photos below are of the outside and the inside of my church, St. John's Lutheran, here in Old Towne Orange, California.

We Share and Are Thankful

"The eyes of all wait upon thee, and thou givest them their meat in due season;
thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing."

One at my window and one at my knee
Two cats are hungry and looking to me
The source whence each day mysteriously
Cat food arrives and some kitty treats too

Therefore they watch to see what I will do

Ravens and opossums wonder as well
The former by sight the latter by smell
They keep their distance but keep tabs on me
Wary of my cat companions you see

Soon enough all of them will feast their fill
God is in heaven and I am here still

Give me this day O Lord my daily bread
And enough too for my friends to be fed

Twelve of the clock and the St. John's bells ring
We share and are thankful for everything
Some in the garden and some in the tree
One at my window and one at my knee

This one defiantely shows your heart and your love of all God's creatures so to speak. Good write and more should hear the message that it delivers.
