Thoughts of you are as everyday as seconds are to time
I can dream each curled up lip as if each smile were mine
The sparkle you have when you look way off to catch a dream
The stretch you give to movements from fingers in life's stream
The grin that wants to burst from laughter hiding in your head
The mighty way you have so strong when others think too big
You scale that dream and go for broke and when I think you're through
You take a step a little further just because you're you are the genius with the child who is inside
This man whose spirit runs to play and with his passions... ride
The amazing difference in a soul is when it isn't tired
Instead you hold out your wings then take that draft and fly
You Dear Love are a prince of royal feelings true
You beat a breath into my heart then take a little too
Just leave me something to get by in case there comes the chance
To hold much tighter to the dream that asked me here to dance
My dance card will always hold a chance to sway with you
To sip the moment just for tears that need the drying too
You are a handsome man of words and fondest dreams that play
So often thinking "what if" comes to take my heart away.

As always you capture my attention right from the start as I wonder who this mystery man is and how he can touch and affect your sweet heart so strongly. Tender, loving write here with a lot of ingrained passion.

I think I know this guy, he used to be an utter ******* who used to believe in man's logic of limited scope that continuously runs into walls he was incapable to tear down, but who continued to run into other walls that trapped him in a world of illusion and paradox. But I think he's ok now since GOD's grace allowed him a peek at the infinite power of HIS Light. :D

Baring our souls in such a way as this is what makes poetry, and those who are POETS, so wonderful. You have found yourself within the poetry of your own soul and that finding is a wonderful thing. You've a knack for turning an ordinary phrase just a tiny bit differently that the rest of us is amazing. It reflects your pure poet's soul. I loved this one very much.

No one could conceive of, much less write, such lines...
unless that person had loved, does love, and will love again.
Your one word applies; breathless. It leaves me so, relishing all of your words in a complete statement of endless and deep love.
Congratulations. ... one more breath; Thanks!
