A poem about the surreal spectactle we view at dawn.

Within the foggy harbor mist
A gorgeous image shines
This breath of hope rests in the midst
Of our Savior, Divine
A sacred gift of pastel peach
And wispy clouds of white
Brings God’s Glory within our reach
At morning’s early light.

While gazing from the wooden bridge
Atop the steep ravine
The beauty of this rocky ridge
Can easily be seen
In pristine hues of brown and jade
So wondrous and so bright
Are these colors the Lord has made
To dwell at morning light.

Among the dewdrops on the sand
And stillness of the air
There is a blessing, rich and grand
To which nothing compares
A cherished hint of pastel peach
Whose splendor shall ignite
The dreams we hold, within our reach
At morning’s early light.
