A baby cries
Tears fall from his eyes
Sad and alone
Moma keeps hanging on
A precious baby boy
Moma's pride and joy
Alone she must do it all
She is the only one to answer his call
No daddy to be found
The man never comes around
The baby grows more and more everyday
Together they have come a long way
Alone she has raise a great son
Look at the wonderful job she has done
It had it's ups and downs
But she learned to turn things around
Her son gets older as time flies by
But sometimes she still hears his cry
a young man without a father to look up to
But moma did the best she could do
But sometimes he cries wondering where his father has gone
And why moma raised him on her own
As a baby cries
Tears falls from moma's eyes
How does she tell him, his father never cared
And that he'd never be there
A baby cries
Tear falls from his eyes
He'd never had a father to speak of
All he ever had was moma's love
A youg man cries
He wipes a tear from his eye
As he realizes he had everything he needed all along moma's love
There nothing else he could need other than her love
As she tell that baby good-bye
And see the grown man who's the apple of her eye.

|I'm not a big fan of "men." I am one. I guess I'm not a big fan of myself even though I would never consciously hurt a woman. I feel this write of yours in the depth of my soul, Pamela. Love and peace to you,

|I guess the hardest event that can hit a young boy without a father was the time when the whole class is making a father's day card for the fathers, and the boy was left alone, not knowing what he should do. The psychological damage can be drastic.
Better to let that young man knows about his father than to let him guess.
A heartfelt write!
