The graphic here is from a collection of my friend Ty Wilson's art. I admire his work in a tremendous way. Thank you Ty!
Susan

I see the vision framed in a rainbow of happiness aglow
I feel the nature of the beast regale...ebb to flow
I know that jealousy leaves a void and that love suffers above
All Others
I know that lust is for teens who are growing with their flavors budding
I sense that man lingers far too long among the fruit of loving
The passions that come alive and are richer for the deeper meat
Spin a vortex of dreams to make us complete
I know that to love is emotional fruit to bestow
That for two to find the seed and make it grow
That these are gifted ones above the others for their push and thought
Becomes a treasure often taught to those who love ...once forgot
I realize the heart is a powerful muscle and that it's versatility is a mystery
I know that to love is a part of all mortal history
The dejavous of passion that spends itself upon a Sunday afternoon
Can come and go if you want but is best adorned, festooned
Upon the bed of treasures that some lust for and forget
For to love is a simple treasure for all... I must admit.

You cover the gamet of love and romance. Ty's work has a distinctly 30s-40s look.

At least some eyes are capable of seeing the colors in the rainbow, while others seem to be looking at a black and white picture of the spectacle. But in matters of Love nothing is ever in black and white.

Romance with such clarity of thought. Love is such a simple treasure, paradoxically it has the power of destruction too...

A very unusual and capturing expose on the nature of true love and passion, Susan. I like the form you have chosen here, and the flow of thoughts. Makes me feel a bit weepy, for some reason... perhaps it's the onions! :)) Artwork is also very complimentary in its clean lines and sparseness. This is a "seasoned and matured" write and yet has the breath of eternal youth about it. I like!! TY LOL Kate xx

I love the art, reminds me of the best of the twenties-I don't know if it's the format, or the amount of words, but with the sleekness and simplicity of line of the artwork, I wonder if this would be visually more appealing "thinner", if that makes any sense whatsoever- just a suggestion, hope you don't mind. Enjoyed this ekphrastic write.

We do go through many shades and forms of love. From our 'first' love to our more impetuos acts of loving; we spend a lifetime falling in and out of emotional desires. This is a fine representation of those moments we carry with us.

I feel that,to a poet the many aspects of love are likened to variety and delivery of our writes, for they include, and for us Pisces that,'s a bunch, all the, pieces and parts of who and what we are,and they all must be contained, amd exemplified in the things that supply our joy and excitement for life. Susan, you have learned much in your years; this being evidence enough. Good work, using the right words, right pacing, right tempo.
..... Right? I enjoyed each and every line. Now, you've begun my day with a more than mature outlook on an old and alluring subject.
