Settling down…

In life you don’t start to feel the inadequacies of life until you’re in your thirties. That’s about the time when your own mortality becomes real. You want to settle down have a family and enjoy the rest of your life. But if you a player, then you have to put away the games. Problem is, you looking for love in all the wrong places. The spaces and places you used to creep soon become venomous to you . Because you see, although you have decided to settle and chill, your dealing with people who haven’t reached that plateau yet. Come-on lets be real, I mean really real. It used to be a time when you could brag on being able to bang a chick all damn night, make her sweat so hard that you have to not only change the sheets, but turn over the mattress and even then, you see a wet spot! I mean you been dibbling and dabbling, rustling and having them girls like ninety going north!! Then suddenly! You want to change. You desire to stop, smell the roses, not take life or love for granted. So you turn to your baby and say
“Hey girl I’ve been thinking. We been doing this thang, this way and that,
why don’t we chill, settle down, raise some babies, maybe have a family.
Your boo,
surprised at you,
looks bewildered
cause you know,
she been doing it too,
backing up,
throwing it down.
She feels your seriousness
Emitting sensually through your Douche Cabańa and she melts,
but only for a second,
then she laughs,
“Nigga you crazy!”
“No I mean it baby” you’re quick to say.
So she feels you out again.
Damn! You looking serious,
you aint high, aint had nothing to drink,
maybe you’re for real
or so she thinks.
Then you,
like a jack ass
sense her guards coming down,
digging what your suggesting.
Now ya’ll kissing
and maybe even caressing.
Her blouse comes off and she’s pulling at your buckle,
trying to break through to your deadly weapon.
You try to make it easier by sliding down in your seat,
you’re feeling her
she’s feeling you.
Then you do it.
And you do it again
And again
Again!
It’s been about three hours, she rolls over while you trying to sleep…
“Baby I’m so glad…” she begins to say
but is stopped abruptly by your snores…
she smiles,
thinking
“I must have worn her out”
Pridefully, she’s content to roll over
place your arm snuggly neatly around her waiste
and cuddle
then you,
a few seconds later,
out of your tired
raspy
sleep
call to her,
“Beth!!!”
She jumps!
Startled
“What?”
“Help me, Beth, baby help me please!!!”
You scream unconsciously in your sleep.
A force
so strong awakens you,
that feels damn near real,
You wake up shaking,
looking like a wild woman to see what happened.
A phone lies beside you in the bed.
Your woman, who’s been loving you
Sheltering you
and caressing you
stands near, getting dressed.
Lazily you look toward her
You’re about to call her name
when she screams
“Bitch who’s Beth”
At the same moment
you realize
the perspiration you feel
rolling down your f ace
is not that at all
but instead blood
cause she has knocked the FUCK out of you
with the phone
from the night stand.
So much for settling down!
