As the dappled sunlight
creeps across my ceiling
i see you in golden gleam
like a scintillating dream
an image of us dancing
under a shimmering sun
on the warm sandy shore
to the music of the surf
as waves kiss our toes
and our passion grows
a delight to the senses
gives me joy for the day
as I think of  you darlin
in such sensuous ways
our eyes locked in sync
we sway with hips joined
in our slow dance divine
only one thing in mind

on this fine glorious morn
giving thanks we were born
looking forward to evening
when you'll be receiving
all the love of this woman
who lives to satisfy her man

Eileen,

I'm satisfied by sunlight, too...too bad we haven't seen much the past five days. Severe storms nearly every night...but tonight, non severe storms are possible through evening, MAYBE I can sleep. Alas, back to stormy conditions tomorrow night through Tuesday night, and they could be bad. AGAIN. I'm so tired of this...anyway, that has nothing to do with this beautiful write. This is gorgeous and calming; thank you for the prayers and the poem!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

When a woman is satisfied the sunlight of her soul is the most life giving light in the earth. You write such beautiful verses.

You epitomise the fulcrum of love and passion in this truly wonderfully romantic write...
What real man could resist this divine and sublime dance of love...

wonderful imagery in this beautiful write

Amazing what wonderful images we can conjure up as we watch seemingly unimportant things. I know this happens to me quite often. Strange, but then, if we knew how our minds worked we would probably go screaming into the night. Lovely poetry.
