Just idle thoughts on a lonely Saturday night...

Midnight Boredom

The hour is late

No one on line

Solitude quiet

Lonely time

No one to chat

No one to hug

Cyber resistance

Like dormant rug

Games disinterested

Can’t find a friend

Sleep is elusive

Time will not end

Am I the only one

On monitor blank

Have I computer BO

Do I smell rank

Must go read a book

Goodnight lazy muse

Lost all my friends

No more self abuse.

And you know Felix, I have wondered the same thing in the middle of the night when I cannot sleep. (Giggles). And I have to agree with Kate too. There are many of us cyber rank smelling people out there, that feel we have been deserted. You made me laugh through this Felix, and for me that is a good thing.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

YOU MAKE ME LAUGH!!! Sorry, Pops, but there are more of us "lonely souls" at one time of the day or other than you might think!! Don't forget we are all over the shop when it comes to time... sometimes, around about midday, I think just EVERYBODY has done a bunk from the site and run off and left me here on purpose... but that's growing up with brothers for you! :)) "Have I computer BO, Do I smell rank"... well, it depends how long that lobster sandwich had been hanging around for, I guess! What with you and your shellfish and me and my seaweed hair, we make quite a stonking couple!! At least we'd have the beach to ourselves!! Ha-ha-bonk... Kate AS USUAL!! xxxxooooxxxx

I was just sleepin' honest, Felix. I used to get on my computer when I couldn't sleep, but I found myself spending too much time here and awake. It took a couple of weeks, but finally by just remaining in bed, I trained myself how to go back to sleep.
Take care,
Sherry

creativity and compassion and. . .so much more!! Kidding, right?
Bet you love the Midnight Hour as much as I do. So quiet. So peaceful. Except for that nagging Muse. . .having to prop open old eyes -- see what you have wrought? I'm t h i n k i n g. Prob'ly smell the wood burn! By the way, guess you know, They means We. Me most of all! 'Pea' <3 <3 <3

Some people disappear from time to time but nothing to be concerned about. Reading is the pacifier of the mind. Enjoy

awwww ((((( Felix ))))), we all have nights like that. Seems that just when you have all these wonderful, witty, things to say, that is the very time, all our cybernet friends disappear. (sniff,sniff)...BUT...on second thought, reading is a very intellectual thing to do...(big grin). I enjoyed reading this poem of yours, and methinks my IQ went up a few points!
Love, Leah
