With love for Mother's Day
The hand that rocks the cradle is
A very precious gift,
A priceless soul who nurtures us
And gives our hearts a lift.
A mother is a boon of love
That God has set apart
To strengthen others by the grace
And love within her heart.
She bears the world within her arms
While nourishing its life
With joy that conquers every tear
And peace to calm the strife.
Each generation knows this truth:
No other boon so dear
As that of anyone in life
Who has a mother near.

|You are fortunate to have had a mother. Some don't. Though even greater is the love you express for the mother you obviously had. Wonderful Poem! Holly|
