I'm going to make it
I'm going to be what I want
Need to be
I'm not going to take it
What this hunt
Has shown to me
I'm not going to fake it
I'm going to be blunt
I'm going to be me

Winter comes
Winter goes
I come undone
As it snows
Winter winds
Blow my mind
Thoughts within
Oh what you'd find
Winter fairies
Flutter by
My mind carries
On as I try
To be ok
To be alright
Winter comes
Winter goes
I come undone
As it snows
Winter winds
Blow my mind
Thoughts within
Oh what you'd find
Winter brings frost
Winter brings ice
All things lost
That once were so nice
Things I want to forget
But remember all the time
And yet
I can not make it rhyme

Dearest Layla
Carry on
Let me tell ya
My loves not gone
Dearest one
Please remember me
When I've come undone
When you plainly see
That it was all for you
All these tears I cried
All the things I'd do
All the things I tried
To be able to cope
To be able to stand
To have some hope
To understand
That you are gone
Not forever but a time
You are gone
But will always be mine
Dearest Layla baby girl
You are my all
You are my world
When I call
When I cry
WHen I scream
I still try
But this scheme
How it hurts me so
How deep it cuts
The things I can't show
This you know but
Please try to see
Try to see the real
True me
That's the deal
That's what I want
That's what I need
End this hunt
On me feed
Read my words
Heal my heart
Let what's been unheard
Not tear us apart

Someday I will write
A love story just for you
It will all be in spite
Of what they said I couldn't do
I will write your name
In letters so high and tall
It will be a shame
If anyone between us would fall
but they just might
They just might see
That though I forever fight
With these demons inside of me
You are my light
You are my dream
My heart takes flight
Thought it may not seem
With the way I live
What I do
How I give

And oh how I give
Oh how I pray
The way I live
The things I say
Not enough I tell ya
Not enough at all
My dearest Layla
I promise I won't fall

This year I will make it
This year dreams will come true
I won't have to deal with it
Thinking completely of the girls and you
I love you so much
I love you all the time
I wish I could just tough
You once
Outside words in a rhyme
