| We decide what to seek from the list of things we are taught to seek and we learn to choose our lovers from those placed in front of us to love. What we fail to learn to seek and to love and to try to understand is ourselves. I don't think our existence revolves around higher powers. I think that we are the highest power. We just have to realize that. The beauty of this life is us. Pierre. |

the question that comes to mind: since truth is manipulated by the need to control how do we discover what we have only been told? of course, this a rhetorical question. truth is a relative term and fashioned only by power, unless we remember the truth within ourselves, then all else is inconsequential ...
extremely intelligent poem, Linda ... |

I think you hit the nail on the head in this whole Da Vinci drama now playing out, as long as man and woman was created with curiosity and the ability to reason someone has tried to control that very thought process and the church has played a huge part in keeping minds diminished and in the dark.

A metaphysical inquiry of profound depth and engaging enchantment. Reads as if the poet's soul itself is whispering truth from between illuminated brows. An exceptional write.

Outstanding Lin! Bottom Line no one can clone, create, duplicate,
or in any other way design the soul! This is God's alone and no man will ever control or understand it...Everyone should also remember the Davinci code is FICTION! Good to see you tackle this Lin, you are missed!

A superb metaphysical pen that contemplates on the workings and mystery of the soul.....and the last stanza is a bolt from the blue...reminded me of dear Jerry Bolton's Bolt...
Where is he these days ...:)
